The Chamber IS a voluntary organization of the business community and a private, not-for-profit organization that acts a unique central agency to improve the business environment in our community.

The Chamber IS NOT a department of the city, county or state government or a charity. Membership dues and expenses are tax deductible as a business expense.

Members are the Chamber's most important assets. The Elizabeth City Area Chamber of Commerce serves over  650 members in Pasquotank & Camden counties. With membership concerns and development as its primary focus, the Chamber offers networking opportunities throughout the year. Other areas of emphasis include legislative affairs and education. The Chamber is committed to the business community’s growth and well-being.
