    Glen Bowman; PhD professor of history at Elizabeth City State University, will discuss Elizabeth City's two Rosenwald schools. Julius Rosenwald was an executive with Sears Roebuck and Company who donated millions of dollars, primarily to education. His contributions helped build more than 800 schools for African Americans in North Carolina alone.
