    Job Description
    Southern Shores Realty is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in managing vacation rental properties. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting and financial operations of our company.  This is a full-time/year-round position.
     
    Responsibilities:
    - Assist with accounts payable and receivable
    - Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
    - Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
    - Assist with monthly financial reporting
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
    - Assist with budgeting and forecasting
    - Communicate with property owners and vendors regarding financial matters
     
    Requirements:
    - 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
    - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    - Experience with Microsoft Excel and Streamline VRS is a plus
